VISI Announces Server Replication Disaster Recovery Services

February 19, 2009 by

Webmaster NewsEDEN PRAIRIE, MN – VISI, Minnesota’s largest data center services and managed hosting provider, is pleased to announce it now offers Server Replication as a new disaster recovery service.

VISI now provides offsite server replication for a company’s critical business data and essential applications that are located on servers at a company’s premise. VISI provides a secure virtual environment for those applications to live in the event of an emergency.

“We’ve reached the point that backups alone are not enough,” said Johnny Hatch, Product Manager at VISI. “Server Replication provides continuous, real-time replication of your server’s operating system, applications and data to VISI’s secure St. Paul Data Center.”

VISI handles the failover and recovery of the servers using DoubleTake software and VMware’s ESX Server platform. Virtualized server replication eliminates hardware investment and compatibility issues, ensuring the rapid recovery of critical data inside one of VISI’s secure data centers.

VISI will be offering the following webinar on February 18, 2009, to showcase the advantages of Server Replication:
