BlackMesh CEO to Discuss Best Practices in Managing Network Infrastructure at LinuxCon 2009

Web Hosting ServicesHerndon, VA – During LinuxCon 2009, Eric Mandel, CEO, BlackMesh, Inc. will give two separate presentations discussing best practices in managing network infrastructure. During his first presentation, attendees will learn how to leverage open source Cobbler and Puppet to quickly, accurately, and reliably deploy new systems across the entire spectrum of production, test, and development systems. As part of his second presentation, Mandel will discuss the issues system administrators face when scaling their online application from a single server to a multi-layered, multi-server architecture and what they can do to address these problems, while optimizing their networks for increased usage.

Eric Mandel has led the strategic direction of BlackMesh since 2003, building a strong base of global, diverse customers and growing the company by 100 percent each year. Mandel is an expert in the structured software development process, data centric systems, production systems, and N-tier, Client/Server and Web-based systems. With over 16 years of experience, Mandel is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, addressing the many technology issues that face today’s emerging companies. Mandel holds a B.S. in Clinical Psychology and English from Tufts University.
