BrandPort Chooses Hosted Solutions’ Stratus Trusted Cloud Computing

October 19, 2009 by

Hosting Tools Raleigh NC – Hosted Solutions, the East Coast’s premier provider of IT infrastructure as a service (IaaS), today announced that BrandPort, the leader in engaging audiences with advertisers in fun, fast casual games, is hosting its IT production platform through Hosted Solutions’ Stratus Trusted Cloud™ offering.

BrandPort has run campaigns for global market leaders such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Philips,, Tommy Hilfiger and more. BrandPort officials said they chose Hosted Solutions’ Stratus Trusted Cloud platform because of its ability to rapidly and reliably deliver a complete, highly available network infrastructure, enabling BrandPort to concentrate on its core capability of facilitating the connection between audiences and advertisers without clutter or annoyance, with quantifiable accountability delivered to marketers and to BrandPort’s large media partners.

“We work with large, global brands and major media publishers and portals, and simply cannot afford any downtime,” said Kivin Varghese, BrandPort’s Founder and Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. “With a trusted partner like Hosted Solutions, we can concentrate on delivering value to our customers without worrying about the backend IT infrastructure. Our business demands a robust, highly available IT environment. We knew we didn’t want to take the time, mindshare or capital to build that kind of infrastructure on our own. It made far more sense from a business, financial and competitive perspective to rely on Hosted Solutions and its proven ability to deliver the kind of service that will help BrandPort propel our business forward, while delivering the consistent quality our customers have come to expect,” Varghese added.

Introduced earlier this summer, the Stratus Trusted Cloud offers a massively scalable, multi-tenant infrastructure that enables customers to access a secure, enterprise-class cloud environment with built-in high availability, automated resource balancing and guaranteed 99.99% uptime. As a result, businesses can move faster and control costs without compromising availability or security. This is of particular benefit to small- and mid-sized enterprises, which might normally not be able to afford the costs associated with such high-end infrastructures. Moreover, Stratus is designed to provide an added level of assurance to companies that their data and entire infrastructure is being administered in a trusted manner, acting in accordance with a full range of governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) regulations.

Hosted Solutions officials noted that more than 80 percent of the company’s clients, including firms such as Belk, Speedway Motor Sports, Bandwidth.com, Harris Teeter, WRAL, the Atlanta Falcons and more, have already outsourced their IT production environments. “In the short time since we introduced Stratus, we’re pleased by the number of companies that are already taking advantage of the benefits it offers,” said Rich Lee, Hosted Solutions’ Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “They are seeking unparalleled flexibility to rapidly expand, depending on network requirements, as well as proven cost savings, both immediate and over the long term. Beyond that, however, they’re looking for a trusted partner on whom they can rely. We have delivered on each of those requirements; BrandPort’s decision to partner with us confirms the value of our approach.”
