October 1, 2009 by

Web Hosting Services HOUSTON — R1Soft, developer of Continuous Data Protection software for Linux and Windows, today announced they will show their newest product, CDP Server 3.0 Standard Edition, at the 2009 cPanel Conference to be held at the Hilton Americas Houston hotel from Oct. 6-7.

During the conference, R1Soft founder David Wartell will lead a session on CDP Advancements and perform a demonstration of several new flexible CDP 3.0 features including file and folder excludes, on-disk journaling, Storing Disk-Based Backups Anywhere (NAS, Windows shares, Cloud Storage and others), more user-friendly interfaces, reporting, and more.

CDP Server 3.0 Standard Edition, the first release of R1Soft’s CDP 3.0 products, will offer users high-performance CDP backups on a single server, without the need of a dedicated backup server. Wartell will also touch on the promising revenue and productivity-boosting implications this new technology brings to Web hosts.

“Year after year, cPanel Conference has provided us with an essential forum to reach out to cPanel users, gain valuable feedback, and open up new discussions. We are really looking forward to another successful conference and exhibiting some of the new CDP 3.0 features,” said David Wartell, Vice President of R1Soft, a division of BBS Technologies, Inc.

Exhibiting at booth #13, R1Soft will be offering attendees a variety of free giveaways including its popular T-shirts and penguins.
