August 12, 2010 by

Web Host ServicesHOUSTON – The Planet, the global hosting leader, today announced that it will participate in Affiliate Summit East 2010, taking place Aug. 15-17 in New York City. On the first day of the conference, The Planet will showcase its Affiliate Partner Program at table 24 in the show’s “meet market,” which provides a venue for affiliate program administrators to have real-world discussions with current and prospective affiliate marketers.

The semiannual Affiliate Summit provides educational sessions focusing on the latest affiliate industry issues and fosters a productive networking environment for affiliate marketers.

“Partners are important to our business, and we’ve built all of our partner programs to be the most competitive and lucrative in the industry,” said Drew Jenkins, manager of channel sales for The Planet. “Our affiliate program is no exception.  In addition to generous commissions, by providing our affiliates with a rich range of content and a variety of promotions, we give them the tools they need to be successful.”

Launched in 2008, the Affiliate Partner Program provides competitive commissions for those who drive business to The Planet. Using program tools, registered affiliates simply place The Planet links on their website. Affiliates are paid a one-time, $150 commission for each new sale they generate.
