Ensim Corporation Ends Plans to Join Forces with NetConnect ASA

February 1, 2011 by

Web Host BlogSanta Clara, CA — Ensim Corporation, the leading provider of provisioning and IDM automation management for Enterprises and Service Providers, announced today that it has ceased negotiations to combine with NetConnect ASA.  Ensim and NetConnect had signed a letter of intent to combine the two companies in early November of 2010.

Factors contributing to the termination include a substantial decrease in NetConnect’s share price, the overall length and complexity of the negotiation process and Ensim’s continued growth in subscriber base, revenue, and profitability.

Based on these factors, Ensim has concluded that at this time a transaction with NetConnect is not in the best interest of Ensim’s shareholders and will continue to execute on its core strategy of providing enterprise class and carrier grade solutions to manage and automate user and entitlement provisioning for unified communications and collaboration applications, cloud services, and virtual desktops and servers.

“We see a number of very positive opportunities for Ensim’s continued growth and success in the years ahead, including significant recent wins with Fortune 500 companies, Tier 1 telecom providers, and global managed service providers,” said David J. Wippich, chairman and CEO of Ensim.
