INetU Managed Hosting is SOC 2 and SOC 3 Compliant

February 29, 2012 by · Comments Off on INetU Managed Hosting is SOC 2 and SOC 3 Compliant

Web Hosting ServicesALLENTOWN, PAINetU, Inc. a global provider of business-centric managed Cloud and application hosting is now SOC 2 and SOC 3 compliant. The company and by extension, its clients, achieved this important set of assurances through an intensive independent audit that was recently completed. The auditors did not find any exceptions in their report, which means that for each control objective, INetU met or exceeded the standards or expectations.

“Data security and the confidences we need to provide to our business clients is something that we take very seriously at INetU,” said CEO and president Dev Chanchani. “Attaining SOC 2 and SOC 3 compliance is further confirmation that we are committed to bringing additional levels of audited scrutiny to our organization on behalf of our clients.”

SOC 2 compliancy represents a broad-based set of Trust Service Principles put forth jointly by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA). The principles define comparable standards of online data security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. SOC 2 augments the SSAE 16 reporting standard that was not easily comparable between competitive companies reports because there wasn’t an agreed upon standard. SOC 2 has rectified this by providing an assessment against standardized principles.

“As INetU continues to excel in the industries of healthcare in the Cloud and online payment transactions platform hosting, our list of compliances and assurances like HIPAA, PCI, SOX and SOC show our true commitment to our clients’ and prospects’ online success.” said Chanchani.

INetU has also achieved the independent SOC 3 audit, which takes the detailed and very intensive reporting used in the SOC 2 and provides a public facing verified summary of the comprehensive audit. INetU is now displaying the official SOC 3 emblem on their website as verification of their successful security audits. Read more
