NTT Communications Welcomes Cloud Ecosystem Partners at VMware Partner Exchange 2012

February 14, 2012 by

Web Hosting ServicesVenetian Hotel in Las Vegas, NV – NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), today announced the company will participate in the Service Provider Pavilion at VMware Partner Exchange 2012, the annual virtualization and cloud infrastructure event designed especially for VMware Partners. Executives from NTT Communications will be on-hand at NTT Communications’ booth number #V4 to welcome potential VMware partners and discuss how to leverage the infrastructure assets and service portfolio of NTT Communications to implement global cloud solutions for international companies. NTT Communications provides VMware vCloud® Powered global public, private and hybrid cloud hosting services to enterprises both directly and through a worldwide network of partners.

Mr. Craig Hurley, senior product manager at NTT America and global product manager for cloud computing services at NTT Communications, will give a talk titled, “NTT America’s Global Virtual Data Center,” on February 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. PST in the Solutions Exchange Theater. While cloud computing has become a cost-effective model for many small- and medium-sized businesses, large enterprises face significantly different challenges in migrating to the cloud. A global cloud resource requires significant and strategic investments in the infrastructure required to build cloud solutions. NTT Communications is one of the few available resources for companies in providing access to a virtualized global data center and a Tier-1 high speed network, eliminating the necessity of duplicated data centers in global regions.

Inside the Service Provider Pavilion attendees will have the opportunity to speak with experts and learn more about virtualization and cloud solutions from VMware Service Providers. NTT Communications will sponsor the pavilion to meet current and potential VMware ecosystem partners and spotlight NTT Communications’ global virtual data center, which gives partners an early advantage in leading large scale cloud computing initiatives. NTT Communications brings an array of assets to the table that VMware partners consider important when deploying global business solutions reliant on the cloud, including: a base of public and private networks spanning the globe; more than 30 worldwide, strategically placed data centers; a complete portfolio of hosted services; and a VMware vCloud® Powered cloud computing architecture.
