SpamExperts Announces Upgraded cPanel Add-on and Sponsorship of the cPanel Conference

September 10, 2012 by

Web Hosting ServicesAmsterdam – Amsterdam based leading provider of email security products, SpamExperts has expanded and improved functionality on its cPanel integration tools to seamlessly integrate the SpamExperts Email Security services (Incoming filtering, Outbound filtering, Email Archiving) with the client’s hosting infrastructure. The SpamExperts improved cPanel Add-ons are a step forward in helping webhosting providers overcome integration obstacles and fully automate their businesses to stay focused on their core value drivers.

SpamExperts offers various and hybrid email security solutions; the actual processing of the messages can be done in the highly redundant SpamExperts Hosted Cloud or locally on the client’s hardware through the Local Cloud product. Both deployments are SaaS solutions fully managed, maintained, and 24/7/365 monitored by SpamExperts.

In addition to this, key differentiators from other email security vendors are the free integration and automation tools which SpamExperts offers their webhosting clients. These add-ons offer SpamExperts clients the opportunity to integrate and automate their email security provisioning with cPanel, and the other major hosting control-panels in the market. The add-on is easily installed on the client’s hosting servers, and takes care of automatically adding and removing domains to and from SpamExperts email security system whilst providing end-clients direct control over their email security.

cPanel Add-ons News facts
SpamExperts is continuously improving its cPanel integration. The latest add-on update improves handling of “odd cases” and provides a better administrator experience by applying sorting to the domain list.

  • Domain sorting for the list in WHM
  •  Handling of duplicate domains in cPanel
  •  Improved detection mechanism for cPanel “remote domains”
  •  Improved handling of add-on domains in case add-on/parked domains are configured to be added as an alias

Another great enhancement in this new release is a workaround for the cPanel DNS update race-condition bug, which is still present on a lot of cPanel servers. This allows domains to be seamlessly updated, so that the MX records point instantly to the specified SpamExperts Hosted Cloud or Local Cloud DNS MX records.

These new features will be presented by SpamExperts at the cPanel 2012 Conference held on October 8-10th in Houston. The cPanel Conference is the largest annual gathering held by cPanel. The conference brings together technical executives, industry leaders and cPanel clients. Over the years, SpamExperts has been a traditional partner and sponsor of the cPanel conference, which offers a great opportunity to interact with customers and collect feedback in order to enhance the SpamExperts product line and cPanel integration tools further, safegarding SpamExperts leading position as email security provider for the hosting industry.

This year, Nils Decker, CMO of SpamExperts, will present „Solving Outbound Spam in cPanel”. This presentation outlines the different options webhosting administrators have in blocking outbound spam and it discusses the current setup of the SpamExperts outbound e-mail security solutions tackling the frequently occurring issues resulting from outbound spam. The presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 9th at 3:00 PM.

“In a fast moving world, SpamExperts is thinking ahead for ways to constantly enhance its solutions, enabling webhosts, ASPs, SMBs and enterprises to be safe and protected from email security threats. Upgrading our cPanel add-ons and features is meant to empower the client to “plug and play” our solutions in their existing infrastructure whilst staying focused on its core business. Our aim is to release our clients from any spam problems and ultimately let email be just the efficient communication tool that it was meant to be.”, says Nils Decker, CMO of SpamExperts.
