CloudLinux Brings Relaxation to cPanel Conference 2013

September 13, 2013 by

Web Hosting ServicesPrinceton, New Jersey – Innovative shared hosting operating system (OS) developer CloudLinux (www.cloudlinux.com) announced today plans to create a place for relaxation at cPanel Conference 2013. In addition to giving attendees some time on a massage chair and a break from the busy three-day event, the CloudLinux Relaxation Exam illustrates how easy CloudLinux makes system administration. Attendees can also learn hands-on how simple CloudLinux is to work with in a special CloudLinux Labs event.

“At cPanel Conference 2013, attendees can get tested by cPanel and receive certification,” says Igor Seletskiy, Founder and CEO at CloudLinux. “We wanted to add to the available certificates with one of our own, focusing on the most important skill of all – sitting back and enjoying some relaxation. I’m looking forward to meeting all those stressed shared hosting admins and showing them how life could be different with CloudLinux.”

With the ability to manage resource allocations and improve server stability, system administrators using CloudLinux can spend less time worrying about performance and reacting to server problems. In fact, the most important skill of a CloudLinux SysAdmin is being able to relax. The skill of relaxation will be put to the test at cPanel Conference 2013, with a Relaxation Exam for shared hosting providers. All attendees need to do is sit back in the CloudLinux massage chairs. If they “survive” for five minutes, they will receive a certificate as a CloudLinux Level One SysAdmin. If they survive for ten minutes, they will be awarded Level Two SysAdmin status.

“We hope to certify hundreds of new CloudLinux SysAdmins at this year’s cPanel Conference,” says Seletskiy. “And everyone who passes our exam will receive a certificate. Of course, those shared hosts who switch to CloudLinux get the best reward of all. They get a whole lifetime of relaxation. To help people understand the CloudLinux OS and how migrating servers to CloudLinux works, I’ll be available throughout the event. I will also be holding a CloudLinux Labs event on Wednesday, designed to show attendees what it is like to use CloudLinux and cPanel hands-on.”

In the Exhibit Hall, CloudLinux will combine a taste of what the OS offers and information on how to start using it. With the CEO of CloudLinux available all three days, hosting providers have the rare opportunity to talk face-to-face with somebody who understands the challenges they face and provides a solution that can overcome them. This is in the spirit of learning, networking, and having fun that defines the cPanel event. In addition to exhibitors from every area of the web hosting industry, cPanel Conference 2013 includes keynotes from big names including cPanel, ServInt, and more. Attendees can also hear in-depth panel sessions on important subjects such as “The Future of Web Hosting.” One popular event is the Labs series, where thought leaders from the world of hosting share practical educational advice. This year, Igor Seletskiy will be running a CloudLinux lab, giving attendees a step-by-step guide to using CloudLinux with cPanel.

“cPanel Conference is always a fun and productive time, and this year will be no different,” says Seletskiy. “Since our OS is designed to be cPanel compatible, we have always enjoyed a close relationship with cPanel. This year, I’d like everyone to come down to booth #100 so I can start building some close relationships with even more people from around the web hosting industry. I also hope to see people at the CloudLinux Lab, so they can see just how seamlessly cPanel and CloudLinux work together.”

cPanel Conference 2013 is a packed event, full of people to meet, talks to hear, and things to learn. In the middle of such a busy schedule, it is refreshing to see a company that lets attendees try a more carefree way of life.

cPanel Conference 2013 takes place September 30th to October 2nd in New Orleans, LA. CloudLinux will be exhibiting at the event at booth #100.

CloudLinux Lab will take place on October 2nd at 11:00am on the Exhibit Floor.
