JangoSMTP Adds New Relays to Accommodate Large Volume

October 9, 2013 by

Web Hosting ServicesSan Mateo, CA – JangoSMTP (www.jangosmtp.com), the world’s first transactional email service, added new SMTP relay servers to their backup data center this week. JangoSMTP will use the extra equipment to process large email volumes on a secure platform.

SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol) relays transfer emails from one server to another. The JangoSMTP servers send email to its final destination in the delivery process.

“We brought the new servers online to help handle our ever-expanding volume of daily transactional emails sent via our SMTP relay service,” said Dean Goodman, JangoMail’s Chief Technology Officer.

Adding the new relays is the first step in the expansion to the company’s new data center, which was developed to serve customers around the clock.
