Web Hosting Services – Reading, Berkshire – Webhosting UK Com Ltd. (WHUK), one of the UK’s web hosting providers – operational since 2001, announced the expansion of a new Tier 4 data centre facility at Reading.
According to the company, the expansion of the new DC is to provide organizations with the highest service levels at an N + N redundancy. The state-of-the art facility is one of most energy efficient infrastructures in the UK with a PUE (Power Utilisation Efficiency) of less than 1.2 compared to the others which have a PUE of 2.0 or above.
With this expansion, the company will offer further improved infrastructure while reducing the carbon footprint which is usually caused due to the high volume of power usage.
Robert King, the CEO of WHUK confirmed that the company has plans aof rolling out further advancements this year to offer various enterprise services and enhance overall customer experience.
Early last year, the company took the initiative for start-up eCommerce businesses by offering a special bundle of services including SSL Certificate, Shopping Cart and compliance to PCI Standards. A representative from the company confirmed that the initiative was highly successful and welcomed by many entrepreneurs within the industry.
