MarketBridge Chooses Latisys Cloud-Enabled Systems Infrastructure

March 14, 2014 by

Web Hosting ServicesASHBURN, VA — Latisys, a leading provider of hybrid cloud hosting and data center solutions, today announced an IT infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) agreement with MarketBridge, a leading global provider of digital marketing, sales enablement, and customer analytics solutions for Fortune 1000 and emerging growth companies.

Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, MarketBridge helps companies scale revenue growth and increase sales productivity by increasing digital customer engagement (social, mobile, online communities, e-commerce) and building robust customer analytics engines. MarketBridge enables clients to focus marketing investments and sales activity on the right customers, with the right messaging and solution via the right marketing and sales channels.

After several years of working with a variety of small and large hosting providers, MarketBridge selected Latisys for its high touch approach and willingness to tailor an IaaS solution to its specific business needs and optimize MarketBridge’s customer facing services and analytics infrastructure.

Under terms of a multi-year IT infrastructure services agreement, MarketBridge and Latisys worked closely together to design and develop a comprehensive Managed Hosting solution to support all of MarketBridge’s services over Latisys’ cloud-enabled systems infrastructure (CESI).
Latisys’ CESI is delivered over a unified national data center footprint, but MarketBridge chose Latisys’ Ashburn data center as its primary underlying platform for delivery of its core solutions—including:

  • RevenueEnginesTM – digital customer engagement and sales enablement programs
  • SMARTTM Analytics – predictive analytics and reporting solutions
  • SQ IndexTM for social media performance tracking and competitive benchmarking
  • Many of these products involve transactional and marketing response data from large multi-national high-tech, retail and financial services companies that MarketBridge analyzes on behalf of their clients to provide critical insight into marketing and sales performance trends and tendencies.
  • MarketBridge is also utilizing the Latisys Enterprise Cloud for a hybrid test & dev environment.

“Latisys’ Ashburn data center is a highly secure environment and a natural location to deploy a comprehensive, high performance cloud-enabled managed hosting solution,” said Eric Cooper, Principal at MarketBridge. “We are getting smarter about core business functions ourselves, but we need experts to ensure infrastructure availability and security. We chose Latisys as a critical extension of our team for their ability to provide a wide range of technical expertise, rapid provisioning and the specialized, high touch support that our SMART infrastructure requires.”

Cooper added, “Latisys’ secure and compliant platform enables us to deliver more value-added services to our clients because we are spending less on infrastructure and applying more resources to solving business problems vs. technical problems … that is the key value for us.”

“Business growth creates new infrastructure challenges and needs,” said Cary Comer, Senior Vice President, MarketBridge. “Latisys helps us scale by delivering what we need in a timely fashion. This has been a sticking point in the past, as our previous providers lacked the agility to deploy critical IT services and provide support with the speed and flexibility our business requires.”

Latisys’ unified, federated CESI is deployed over a high-density data center platform that spans the U.S. Latisys’ national reach facilitates the delivery of high performance, scalable, redundant hybrid cloud hosting and data center solutions that enable multi-site redundancy, managed backup and secure disaster recovery—including cloud-based DR. Latisys’ Tier III facilities are designed for the business continuity of mission-critical operations — offering the power, cooling, backbone network and managed services with an eye toward reducing capital expenditures for storage and ongoing maintenance.

“From the beginning, Latisys has focused on developing the most collaborative, high touch enterprise customer support program in the industry,” said Carolyn Merritt, Vice President of Customer Care for Latisys. “We understand the technical limitations that many mid-size organizations may experience so we are able to rapidly supplement their needs with a wide range of subject matter expertise.”

Latisys engages external audit firms to perform annual assessments to support customers’ diverse compliance requirements. These accredited examinations span SOC 2, SOC 3, PCI DSS and HIPAA—affirming Latisys’ commitment to meet the highest standards for availability and security. With a Net Promoter score of 46, Latisys leads the IaaS industry in customer satisfaction.
