Knowing the geographic location that Web visitors are logging in from has enabled Continental to more efficiently connect new and existing customers in 56 countries to relevant deals and discounts. In the six months that Continental has been working with Quova, it has improved click-through rates of homepage banners by as much as 200 percent.

The world’s fifth largest airline, Continental Airlines operates more than 2,800 daily departures, serving 135 domestic and 132 international destinations across 56 different countries. Continental carries approximately 67 million people annually. With its international customer base growing rapidly, Continental has undertaken a company-wide initiative to improve performance of its Web properties in each of the 56 countries and territories where it operates. Deploying geolocation data to localise their Web site’s ads, promotions and content was a major focal point of the initiative, as it has the potential to shorten sales cycles and improve overall customer experience.
