July 27, 2011 by · Comments Off on Peak 10 Advises Businesses to Prepare Disaster Recovery Plans for Hurricane Season

Hosting ServicesCHARLOTTE, N.C. – Peak 10 Inc., a managed services and cloud provider with world-class data centers, is encouraging businesses to ensure that their disaster recovery plans and business continuity programs are in place for the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season. The annual hurricane season, predicted to demonstrate “above normal” activity levels this year, serves as a timely reminder that natural disasters occur regularly and can cause serious damage to a company’s business.

Peak 10 is urging its clients and other businesses to review their current BC/DR plans, as natural disasters, technical malfunctions, cyber attacks and simple human errors can eradicate a company’s essential data. A thorough DR plan can minimize downtime and the impact it has on employees, partners, customers and a company’s bottom line.

The Survey Results Are In – Businesses Love Using INetU for Their Managed Hosting and Cloud Needs

April 6, 2011 by · Comments Off on The Survey Results Are In – Businesses Love Using INetU for Their Managed Hosting and Cloud Needs

Hosting ReviewsALLENTOWN, PA – Managed hosting and cloud provider INetU has built its reputation on exemplary customer service and new survey results from an independent market research firm have confirmed the company is keeping up its end of the deal. Customer analysis indicate INetU has earned a robust +61% Net Promoter Score® (NPS) based on a 2011 customer survey conducted by Direct Opinions, a Certified Net Promoter Loyalty Partner.

“INetU’s Net Promoter Score of 61 is more than 50 percent higher than scores published by our leading competitors,” said INetU president Dev Chanchani. “This validates INetU’s sincere commitment to our customers – not just in words, but in quantifiable responses straight from our customer base. The fact that two out of three INetU customers are considered loyal enthusiasts and are actively referring us to others is a feat we are quite proud of and will strive to improve upon.”

NPS is based on the fundamental perspective that every company’s customers can be divided into three categories: Promoters, Passives, and Detractors. By asking one simple question — How likely is it that you would recommend [Company X] to a friend or colleague? — Net Promoter can track these groups to form a clear measure of company performance through its customer’s eyes. Customers respond on a 0-to-10 point rating scale and are categorized as follows:

– Promoters (score 9-10) are loyal enthusiasts who will keep buying and refer others, fueling growth.
– Passives (score 7-8) are satisfied but unenthusiastic customers who are vulnerable to competitive offerings.
– Detractors (score 0-6) are unhappy customers who can damage your brand and impede growth through negative word-of-mouth.

To calculate NPS, the percentage of detractors is subtracted from the percentage of promoters. In a survey of INetU’s customers, 66 percent were promoters (scores of 9-10) and just 5 percent were detractors (scores of 0-6). The sample size achieves a statistically significant confidence level and interval of 95 percent (+/- 5%). INetU’s independent customer survey had a response rate of 43 percent, an exceptionally high figure.

How a company ranks in its own category determines whether a Net Promoter Score is positive or negative, as different industries vary greatly. According to the Satmetrix 2011 Net Promoter® Benchmark Study of U.S. Consumers, the average NPS in the Health Insurance industry is -5 percent, while the average NPS in the auto insurance industry is 35 percent. NPS is relative only to the competitive set from which customers in a specific industry make purchasing decisions. Read more

March 7, 2011 by · Comments Off on INetU Launches Hosting Services in Amsterdam

Hosting ToolboxALLENTOWN, PA – Leading managed hosting and cloud provider INetU has gone international. Just weeks after passing a third-party independent audit to meet ISAE 3402 international accounting compliance standards, INetU has launched hosting services in a state-of-the-art data center facility in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for its international clients.

“Operating our services abroad was the logical next step in our efforts to meet the needs of our ever-expanding international clientele,” said Dev Chanchani, president, INetU. “The initial feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive and we’ll continue to listen to their needs and act accordingly.”

The Amsterdam facility is a 24/7/365 operation that caters to a variety of international clients by offering flexible and tailored solutions. Staff is available at all times to ensure systems are running smoothly and client service needs are met.

“With our continued international growth, we needed a European hosting partner that could satisfy our stringent requirements for performance and security while delivering speedy implementation,” said Ye Zhang, Collections Marketing Center, Inc. (CMC) co-founder and Chief Technology Officer.“We chose INetU to support our rapid expansion not only because of their impressive Amsterdam facility, but also because they have a talented and responsive operational team. INetU Simplifies International Business Assurance Standards Reporting

February 15, 2011 by · Comments Off on INetU Simplifies International Business Assurance Standards Reporting

Hosting BlogALLENTOWN, PA – Businesses looking to comply with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements No. 3402 (ISAE 3402) can rely on INetU for their managed hosting and cloud needs. INetU has passed an independent audit and has been recognized as an ISAE 3402 compliant hosting company.

“As companies continue to expand their businesses internationally, ISAE 3402 compliance will become increasingly important when choosing a managed hosting and cloud provider,” said Dev Chanchani, president of INetU. “By passing our independent audit, we are meeting those needs in advance for our North American clients and providing compliant transactions for our clients abroad.”

INetU’s third party auditor did not find any exceptions in their report.  This means that for each control objective, INetU met or exceeded expectations.

ISAE 3402 was developed to provide an international assurance standard for allowing public accountants to issue a report for use by service organizations and their auditors.

There is a large and ever-growing list of international industries and business sectors that are considered service organizations for purposes of ISAE 3402 compliance. The growth in outsourcing, combined with increased mandates for security, will force more international businesses to comply with ISAE 3402 in the future.

Service organizations receive significant value from having an ISAE 3402 engagement performed. A Service Auditor’s Report with an unqualified opinion that is issued by an Independent Accounting Firm differentiates an organization from its peers by demonstrating the establishment of effectively designed control objectives and control activities. This helps build trust with customers and ensures that user organizations and their auditors have access to the same information.

Without a current Service Auditor’s Report, a service organization may have to entertain multiple audit requests from its customers and their respective auditors. This can place a strain on resources.

An ISAE 3402 engagement allows a service organization to have its control policies and procedures evaluated and tested by an independent party. Often, this process results in the identification of opportunities for improvements in many operational areas.
