Webmaster ToolboxRESTON, VA – ByteGrid Holdings LLC, a newly formed company focused on the acquisition, development and operation of premier wholesale data center facilities, today announced that it has acquired a fully operational, highly resilient data center campus on an ultra-secure 11-acre site in Silver Spring, Maryland from a Fortune 50 financial services institution that will continue to lease a portion of the data center under ByteGrid’s ownership. ByteGrid has partnered with Altpoint Capital Partners LLC, a New York based private equity firm, to build and expand the platform across multiple geographic markets.

The flexibly designed facility is strategically located within the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia data center market and has approximately 214,000 square feet of data center space. The data center has over 20 megawatts of back-up generator capacity and currently features nine megawatts of available power. Read more
