WebPal Partners with Phoenix NAP to Streamline Solution Deployments

December 10, 2012 by

Web Hosting ServicesPhoenix, AZ – Phoenix NAP®, a full service data center and primary network access point (NAP) offering cloud services, dedicated server hosting, colocation, and infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technology solutions, announced today a partnership with WebPal, a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud content management solution. WebPal will leverage Phoenix NAP’s cloud offering to hasten delivery of its SaaS solution to end users.

“We partnered with Phoenix NAP with a specific goal in mind, to offer WebPal clients alternatives for physical storage with locations and SLAs that match their needs better than we can alone. We want to provide our clients not only with the best, but also with best matching cloud content management,” said Markus Latzel, CEO of Palomino Systems/WebPal.

Capitalizing on one of Phoenix NAP Cloud’s unique features, WebPal will white-label its solution to create a seamless purchase experience for its customers. Even though the underlying supportive virtualization technology will be from Phoenix NAP, WebPal end users will be interacting with the WebPal brand.

“A white labeled version of our cloud will be preinstalled on the WebPal CMS,” said William Bell, director of cloud services for Phoenix NAP. “This allows WebPal customers to procure their desired solution without abruptly seeing a different brand they may not be familiar with or know as well.”

WebPal is fully accessible on mobile devices and connects with more than 30 popular apps on iOS, Android, and Blackberry platforms. The SaaS solution handles many document types with plugins to view, convert, edit, share and publish material. WebPal Servers can also be customized for specific applications.

“The future of online cloud collaboration and content management is promising and the addition of WebPal allows companies of all sizes cost effective access to some very powerful tools. We are looking forward to this new partnership and the potential it brings,” said Ian McClarty, president of Phoenix NAP.

“This partnership will benefit our clients by giving them more control over their data storage, add value to Phoenix NAP’s service offering without the pain of software maintenance, and ultimately grow our joint client base,” added Latzel.

Phoenix NAP is a PCI DSS Validated Service Provider and a SOC Type 2 audited facility.
