Along with other achievements, the company earned $78 million in revenue for January 1 – March 31, 2011.

SoftLayer Awarded for Environmental Accomplishment

Softlayer 190x60 LogoWebmaster NewsDALLAS — Metro Foam Recycling has awarded SoftLayer Technologies a certificate for having recycled more than 12,000 pounds of foam material in 2008. The material was recycled through a partnership between the two companies; Metro Foam recycles all of the foam packaging material from SoftLayer’s new server shipments, greatly reducing the amount of waste that would go into a landfill.

“We are proud to have reached this milestone in our efforts to reduce our impact on the environment.
