Webmaster ToolboxDALLAS, TEXAS SoftLayer Technologies®, the innovative provider of Cloud, Dedicated, and seamlessly integrated environments, today announced the launch of a new Referral Partner Program.

Designed to be the easiest program in the hosting industry for partners, its straightforward commission structure provides generous rewards for referring new customers to SoftLayer’s award-winning services, with benefits including:

– Automated, monthly recurring commissions, paid for the life of customers referred
– Commissions based on referred customers’ entire monthly bills, including upgrades
– Dedicated Channel Managers
– Reciprocal referrals
– No fees or annual commitments

“SoftLayer is all about being the simplest, most efficient provider to do business with. That applies to all we do, from our automated services to our new Referral Partner Program,” said Drew Jenkins, Manager of Channel Sales for SoftLayer. “If you are a managed services provider, systems integrator, consultant, application developer, or in any position where you work with customers who need Cloud, Dedicated, or Managed environments, we want to reward you for referring those opportunities to SoftLayer. We’re making it simple for our partners to provide their customers with a fully integrated suite of hosted solutions while turning those connections into monthly income.”

Referral Partners can submit, manage, and monitor their leads through an intuitive online portal, and even track their past, present, and future monthly commissions. Mr. Jenkins indicated that the Referral Partner portal will soon provide marketing materials for download, giving Referral Partners additional tools for positioning SoftLayer’s services.

“We’ve already had good success as a Referral Partner with SoftLayer,” said Bing Pascual, Vice President of Business Development for inMotion Group. inMotion was a member of the legacy Referral program that became part of SoftLayer when it merged with The Planet last year. “I’m even more excited about this new program. It presents a greater revenue opportunity with even fewer requirements on my side. Clearly, a win-win situation.”

“Most programs like this have all sorts of restrictions and limitations, like a minimum number of referrals or purchase volume, or only paying commissions on the initial sale amount or only for the first year,” said Mr. Jenkins. “We haven’t gone that route because we know that partners want to work with providers that are easy to do business with. We want our partners to benefit from every bit of success that they help us generate.”
